This week’s feature takes us to Manila:

(View in Google Maps)

This is the interchange between the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA).

The SLEX is the major expressway connecting Manila with the southern provinces on Luzon, while EDSA is a major circumferential expressway around Manila.    You’re looking at Exit 8 for the SLEX ad Exit 4 for EDSA.

Actually, the SLEX is mostly hidden at this location, as the northernmost portion of the freeway is capped by “The Skyway”, a premium toll road built as an express option to the congested SLEX.

Wikipedia offers additional information on the SLEX and EDSA.
