So, I’m traveling for business this week.
Originally, the plans for the week involved flying to the site of a business support office for a Tuesday-Wednesday meeting.
Unfortunately, that meeting is now just a Wednesday event, as a key participant was impeded by Monday’s nor’easter.
“No problem” say I. After all, I’m a modern geek, and am equipped with wireless gadgetry to enable me to be productive no matter where I am, right?
Well, there’s just one catch in that plan, I’ve realized.
My carrier’s wireless broadband network isn’t built out in this part of the country yet.
I had forgotten just how much “fun” dialup-like speeds can be.
