I thought I’d offer slightly belated new year’s greetings.
I had intended to do the traditional stroke-of-midnight post, but plans were thrown out the window when I needed to spend the night with our dog at the emergency vet, for reasons as-of-yet undetermined.
Scary part was before midnight, she started getting better after midnight…so I’ll say that my wish that 2008 be a better year than 2007 might be getting off to a good start.

I hope your poor dog is OK now. Nothing worse than sitting in the emerg in the middle of te night waiting to hear news.

She’s doing better, but she’ll have to spend another night in the hospital for observation.
And actually, is something worse. The last time I was at that vet E.R. (with my 16 year old cat), we knew very quickly that things were not going to be all right.
