I mentioned in my embarkation post (no link, since I’m composing this offline; however it’s a couple of posts back in the Cruise category) that my great mystery of what’s shown on TV while at sea has been solved.
We’re having breakfast in our cabin this morning; and I have BBC World playing in the background while my wife wakes up.
I prefer the bits of BBC news we can get in the States, but unfortunately those broadcasts tend to be inconveniently timed for me.
However, the BBC World channel, based on my (admittedly limited) exposure so far, would be a welcome addition to our lineup at home. It’s far less grating than the CNN/FoxNews/MSNBC mess we have now.
