Thought/Rant Du Jour

Thought/Rant Du Jour

18 August 2007 · No Comments

I’ve mentioned that my posting the past few weeks would be somewhat erratic, due to a project I’ve been working on coming to a head.

Because of that work/web line that I avoid crossing in writing my blog entries, I obviously can’t go into details and share a very lengthy rant over the most recent developments with that project that have me wondering if my name is Dilbert.

However, I don’t think I’d be piercing that veil of separation by observing the following:  You’d think that in this day and age some folks would have gotten the memo that to be competitive in the current market, nimbleness and an ability to multi-task/multi-path projects is necessary.

A linear, “we’ll start our jobs once you are completely complete with yours” philosophy just ain’t going to cut it any more.

And to have several weeks several folks’ all-out effort nearly derailed by 1950’s thinking is just so…frustrating.
