GOP YouTube Debate Back On

GOP YouTube Debate Back On

Seen at The Trail:

This just in: The Republican CNN/YouTube debate, in limbo for the past few weeks, is on again.

But Mitt Romney, who won Saturday’s Iowa straw poll and has criticized the debate format, has yet to commit to the Nov. 28 event.

Romney, the lone GOP holdout, has posted more videos on his YouTube channel (283 as of Sunday afternoon) than any other presidential candidate, Republican or Democrat. But he has resisted the debate, in which videotaped questions are submitted through YouTube. In an interview with Manchester Union Leader, Romney said, “I think the presidency ought to be held at a higher level than having to answer questions from a snowman.”

Excellent!

While I agree with the sentiment that the Snowman question might have been a bit much, it’s good to see that GOP hopefuls will face more direct questioning from ordinary (or at least geeky) Americans.

A QUESTION TO ALL PARTIES RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT

I am wondering if it ever crossed any of your minds to choose a running mate who is the opposite of their party?

I believe that if we had a President who was Democratic/Republican and a Vice President who was Republican/Democrat would actually unite the country and bring true change. We will then have a White House that represents all the people. Let alone make talks between the President and Vice President would gain the perspective of all people. I think it would make laws and bills that are being considered easier to enact when you already have both parties in the White House. You would gain so much and I believe the country would vote for the real President who really does want to create a new and better America. Someone who says they want change but behind our backs they really don’t. Be different if you want a different America that is better for all people.
    Thank You.
