I’m always fascinated by reports that Ron Paul’s campaign hasn’t yet been written off as nonviable nuttiness.
Donklephant relays a message he received about one tactic Paul’s supporters have been using to spread the word:

I rarely deal with paper money anymore, now that just about every place I shop takes plastic. However, I do recall having encountered such a $1 bill awhile ago.
It’s cheap advertising, I guess.

Not only is it CHEAP advertising, it is the best advertising EVER. From one American citizen to the hands of another, and possibly 4 or 5 more! Personally I would feel grateful to get such a bill, and to realize that it was written on by another American to spread the word of this great man, and not by some “public relations” firm backed by corporate interest!! BTW I don’t believe this type of campaign tactic would work for anyone BESIDES Ron Paul, simply because the news media has done a good job of presenting the other candidates. If someone gets this dollar and decides to go the website or learn about Ron, they will be thinking to themselves, how come I haven’t heard of this candidate. Wait a minute, how come the media isn’t giving this man coverage.. he’s great. Then the ball REALLY starts rolling!! Great strategy for this man!

How about just writing the % of that dollar bill that represents immediate debt to the Federal Reserve?
