Obama Doesn’t Like Capitalism in the Insurance Industry

Seen at Washington Wire, in a post discussing Obama’s health care plan:

Obama wants to lower costs by increasing competition among insurers and in the vast market for prescription drugs. “The insurance business today is dominated by a small group of large companies that has been gobbling up their rivals,” according to the Obama plan, which would compel insurance companies “to pay out a reasonable share of their premiums for patient care instead of keeping exorbitant amounts for profits and administration.”

Somehow I get the impression that Barak might disagree that insurers’ profits over the long term should reflect the risks they face.
