For the second year, [New Britain, CT] police plan to enforce the city’s noise ordinance by charging violators with breach of peace and then seizing detachable “faceplates” from their car stereos.[.]

“If you have that music cranked up, we’re not just going to give you a ticket and let you go on your way,” Wright said. “Now we’re going to make sure you can’t blast that music until your case is settled.”

I think it’s an entertaining idea.but whatever happened to the idea that you’re innocent until found guilty by a jury of your peers?
