Juggling a couple of three-ring circuses at home and at work have limited my blogging time for the past couple of days, so I’m going to be quieter than normal today and tomorrow at least.
However, I would be remiss if I didn’t point out a couple of items in the headlines.
- Business Insurance reports that Judge Stenter has cut the punitive damage award in the first State Farm Katrina case back to $1 million, from the $2.5 million called for by the jury.
- Several news outlets (e.g. the NYT) have reported that business sense has prevailed, and Delta’s creditors have rebuffed USAir’s takeover offer.
  - And surely, you’ve heard by now about the chaos caused by a guerrilla marketing campaign in Boston for Aqua Teen Hunger Force gone bad. Kos has a writeup here. While in this day and age, vigilance in the name of public safety is certainly appreciated…I think a few folks need to get a sense of humor…or at least watch a bit of Adult Swim to take the edge off.
