The insurance industry is doing a bit of self-promotion in Connecticut, it seems. A new report on the impact of the industry on the state’s economy has been released (2mb ppt).
While the study naturally doesn’t come out and say it, looking through the 48 slides, I get a bit of an impression that the insurance industry is attempting, in a kind and gentle way, to tell the Connecticut state government, “We like it here in Connecticut, but Iowa is becoming a major insurance player. You don’t want that to happen, do you?”
