Election Quote of the Weekend

Election Quote of the Weekend

As seen in a New York Times article on partisan efforts to pull out all the stops on the legal front for Tuesday’s election:

The Hotline, a political newsletter, noted the trend, commenting, “We’re waiting for the day that pols can cut out the middleman and settle all elections in court.”

The article hits the high points on issues expected on Tuesday, ranging from glitches with electronic voting machines all the way over to good ol’ fashioned voter intimidation.

I do have to point to one of the more intriguing projects I’ve seen in the way of election monitoring: Video the Vote, which is signing up “normal people” to tote their camcorders to the polling stations to monitor any funny business that might occur.
