The second Lamont-Lieberman-Schlesinger debate was taped yesterday. Apparently WFSB caved into the public rumblings of discontent over the embargo of the debate, and outside media were permitted to discuss the taping before tonight’s airing of the event. Video of the debate is available on Youtube.
I haven’t seen the debate yet; I’ll hopefully stream it tonight and will perhaps share a thought or two on it later. It sounds like Schlesinger repeated his entertaining performance, that Lamont was more engaged, and Lieberman was so long-winded that the moderator finally started just turning off Lieberman’s mike.
I did see this quote, posted in comments at MyDD, and requited at DailyKos which I thought needed to be shared sooner, rather than later:
How often do you get a three-way race in which the Democrat is supporting the Republican while fighting against the Democratic infrastructure, the Republican party is supporting the liberal New England Jew instead of the right-wing millionaire, and the Republican nominee is running against the Republican party?
Now, that’s entertainment, folks. J
