The TSA website now has more detailed information up on their website about the return of toiletries to commercial airliners.
The high points:
- Toiletries must be placed into one quart-sized (8″ � 7�”) ziploc bag, which will be screened separately from the rest of your carry-on luggage (just like laptops are now).
- No more than 3 ounces of product per bottle.
- One ziploc bag per customer.
- Liquids purchased behind security and kept behind security can be carried onto planes. If you carry it into an unsecured area, however, it can’t be brought in.
Now, if only the stores I frequent would carry my shampoo in a small enough bottle…
