With a public hearing on the availability of homeowners insurance on the Connecticut coast coming up, a survey by the Connecticut PIA seems timely

Distilling it down into a few sentences, it seems like this (admittedly small) group of agents are finding it tougher, but still possible to place homeowners and commercial property insurance on the Connecticut coast. The comments also seem to suggest that there’s a general attitude of pessimism, although I would hope that eases assuming the reinsurance market softens in 2007.
