(Via TalkLeft) Apparently Truthout is not backing down from their report
that Rove has been indicted. After apologizing for moving too early, they released an updated report on the matter.
Apparently there are also rumors that Rove may be turning state’s evidence against others in the administration (Cheney?). However,
given that Rove’s folks are vigorously and adamantly denying Truthout’s claims, and that no one other than Truthout is yet
confirming the story….heck, I don’t know what to believe any more.
My inner-Democrat would love to see Rove convicted. However, I’m not so sure that seeing a corruption investigation going almost
all the way through the White House would be in the best interest of the country. Besides, “President Hastert” just doesn’t have a
ring to it.
