Windsor Budget Referendum Results

Again, it’s doubtful that anyone from Windsor reads this blog, but just in case anyone cares, here’s the verdict from the town mailing list:

The Question: Shall the annual budget appropriation for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2007 in the amount of $87,988,405 as recommended by the Windsor Town Council be adopted?

Yes: 1118

No: 2352

I’m not displeased by this result, but I am very surprised.

I’m almost afraid to see what tax hike the next budget will propose.
