From the Wall Street Journal’s
Washington Wire blog:
In the wake of allegations that it improperly participated in domestic data-mining efforts, BellSouth Corp. Monday
said the company has never turned over bulk calling records to the National Security Agency. The Atlanta-based company also said the agency had never contacted it to provide massive amounts of information about domestic
calls.
Hunh. I guess al Qaeda and “anonymous sources” don’t operate in BellSouth territory.
