I should mention that with the arrival of Daylight Saving Time in the U.S., one oddity has ended — “Indiana Time” is no more. As of the wee hours of this morning, most of Indiana is now on Eastern Daylight Time, with the exceptions of portions of the state near Chicago, Danville, and Evansville, which are now firmly in Central Daylight Time.
We welcome Indiana to the 20th centrury.
Now, if only we could do something about this foolishness of changing the start and end of DST in ‘07….
