For this week, we’ll do another interchange featured in my recent roadtrip, as well as one discussed with some regularity in misc.transport.road.
This is the infamous Springfield Interchange. As of this writing, MSN’s maps are showing the interchange relatively early on in the massive reconstruction project now underway. This interchange brings I-95, I-395, and I-495 together, with a reversible HOV roadway on I-95/I-395 thrown in to boot.
