From the Alaska Daily News:
The two big Alaska bridges — Knik Arm crossing and Ketchikan-Gravina — won partial funding in the budget that Gov. Frank Murkowski outlined today.
The governor’s plan appeared to allocate $93.6 million in federal funds to build a bridge across Knik Arm from Anchorage to Mat-Su. It gives $91 million for a bridge from Ketchikan to Gravina Island.
Remember the comments made when the federal funds were de-earmarked but not rescinded?
Gotta love the political games Congress plays.
