Lemminged from Slashdot: The Washington Post, the ACLU is in trouble with a court for posting the following sentence:
The provision under challenge allows an FBI agent to write a letter demanding the disclosure of the name, screen names addresses, e-mail header information, and other sensitive information held by ‘electronic communication service providers.’
The ACLU is suing the feds over the Patriot Act. In posting that sentence about the case, which is apparently under some Patriot Act inspired secrecy order, the ACLU itself ran afoul of the Patriot Act.
And the Shrub wants the Congresscritters to make the Patriot Act permanent given anecdotes like this? Jawohl, mein Fuehrer
